I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The intimate atmosphere with only six rooms made the service exceptional. I loved the various cozy spots in the garden for relaxation and dining. The beach bar was cozy and friendly, and the food was delicious. The highlight for me was the amazing room and bathroom, which felt like a dream. The beach in front of the hotel was stunning, surrounded by nature. The director, who is also a doctor, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially considering my health concerns. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm, comfort, and excellent service.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. The food at the hotel was a bit spicy for some people.

Private hotel, very tasty breakfast!
Nice building and rooms with Arabic decoration. Perfect facilities and very comfy beds. Best staff interactions. Free parking nearby provided. Great pool. Incredible and amazing location to the Rock restaurant which is well known in pingwe Zanzibar, in the gorgeous area.

The room was splendid and comfortable and what's more - included a shower, hair dryers, and bathrobes. Plus it had exceptional view over sea. It was in a stunning location above a coral lagoon.

I had an amazing time at this luxurious hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, right down the beach from the famous Rock restaurant. The service was top-notch, with room service, car hire, and airport shuttle available. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including a balcony with a stunning view. The hotel also had a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and beach access, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. The spa and wellness centre offered a wide range of treatments, from massages to beauty treatments. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a restful stay in February.
We had a double room with EXCEPTIONALly comfortable bed and climate control, an individual safe, and a mini bar fridge. Booked it for usd 416. Location: the hotel was close enough to right on the beach, the gardens and turquoise sea.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional. The room was not only gorgeous but also had a stunning view of both the pool and the beach from the balcony. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, with easy access to the beach and a short distance from nearby attractions. The staff at the hotel treated us with warmth and attentiveness, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to diversify the menu for breakfast.

Celebrating New Year's Eve was a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area with amazing views of the ocean. The massages were top-notch and the private island tour was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The food was mediocre and the cocktails were not well-balanced. The room service was a bit too intrusive and could use some improvement in this area.

The staff was super cool and made us feel like VIPs. We loved chilling at the pool and exploring the beautiful beach nearby. Plus, the food was unreal - we had the best fish tacos ever! Asili House was the perfect base for our adventures. We had a blast!
We wished there were more late-night party options nearby. While we enjoyed the chill and relaxed vibe, it would have been awesome to have some wild parties for us young folks looking for a bit more excitement.

Our recent stay at this beautiful hotel on the coast was truly a dream come true. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and only a short distance from the iconic Rock restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The bathroom was a real highlight, with a large bathtub and stunning sea views. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of exotic fruits and fresh juices. The hotel also provided great facilities, including snorkels and coral shoes, and offered romantic dinner options in various locations throughout the property.
We did notice some minor issues with the service at times.

The rooms at Boutique Hotel Matlai were a dream come true for us. From the carefully designed interiors to the breathtaking view of the ocean, we felt like we were living in a postcard. It was a romantic and serene experience that we will cherish forever.
Personally, we found the room temperature a bit too warm for our liking. But hey, everyone's preferences differ, so it might not bother others at all.
